Talin Babikian, PhD, Visiting Professor in the Department of Medical Psychology at Yerevan State Medical University
Since March 2018 Talin Babikian, PhD, board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Associate Director of BrainSPORT at UCLA, has become Visiting Professor in the Department of Medical Psychology at Yerevan State Medical University.
Dr. Babikian earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Loma Linda University in 2005. She completed a predoctoral internship at the then-UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute (today’s Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA), focusing on developmental disabilities and pediatric neuropsychology. Before that Dr. Talin Babikian graduated from Loma Linda University specializing in Psychology, and then continued her education at the same university in the School of Public Health.
Dr. Babikian is a member of many international scientific organizations among which are the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, the Armenian American Medical Society (AAMS), the National Neurotrauma Society, etc.
Dr. Talin Babikian has been organizer for many international conferences, has presented lectures during international scientific conferences and published numerous articles in the world’s most famous journals. For the expertise in her specialty field she has received many prizes and rewards.
