Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) is enlisted in the Directory of Higher Medical Institutions adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The medium of instruction is English .
Post-graduation in 45 specialties .
Two sessions yearly: starting 0 1s t October and 0 1 st March .
Duration of the course is usually 2 to 3 years depending on the specialty.
Annual tuition fee is USD 4000 . First year fee is to be paid in the form of demand draft in favor of the University in Armenia .
Annual hostel fee is USD 500 .
International hostel is centrally heated and is provided with basic amenities. The hostel complex has a gymnasium, reading room, shop, buffet and mess.
University provides a complimentary breakfast to those staying in the hostel complex.
Indian food is offered in the hostel canteen and a few Indian restaurants in the city.
Furnished accommodation can also be rented at affordable rate in the city.
Average annual personal expenditure would be approximately USD 1500-1800 ; which includes food, local transportation, laundry and other expenses.
Muslim food imported from other countries is also available.
The Yerevan State Medical University has summer and winter sport camps and resorts in different parts of Armenia . Special non-expensive rates are available for foreign students.
Admission is subject to availability of a seat in the preferred specialty.
Attested documents should be sent in advance for availability and confirmation of the seat in the selected discipline.
After submission of all the required documents, admission would be granted the same day by the University officials in New Delhi .
The University will arrange the visa to the Republic of Armenia .
There are several routes to reach Yerevan , Armenia (via Moscow , Vienna , Sharjah, Dubai and Zurich ).
All the students must have Medical Insurance during the whole period of study.
The students will be received by the officials at the airport upon their arrival at Yerevan .
"Student Residency Card' would be arranged by the University after student's arrival in Armenia .
